About Me
I am a Barrister who practices Family, Employment and ACC law. My practice is focused on legal aid work although I take on a limited amount of private work as well.
A client's ability to access the legal system and participate effectively in their proceedings is of primary importance to me. I firmly believe that all people have a right to competent legal representation and should have their views heard and considered within the Court system.
I believe that I have an empathetic, calm and solutions focused approach to my clients and the legal issues that are brought to my office.
I recognise that stressful and time consuming litigation should be the last option in any scenario.
My Experience
I attended the University of Canterbury and obtained an LLB/BA qualification. I have worked for various Government Ministries before commencing in practice as a lawyer 9 years ago. I initially worked in Employment law and then moved into both Family and ACC law.
I have worked as a solicitor, an employed Barrister and now as Barrister Sole.
