About Me

I am an experienced family lawyer who represents and advocates for people during what is
often a difficult and stressful time of their lives.

I provide a professional, responsive and down-to-earth approach to help my clients achieve the
best possible outcome for their situation, whether that is by making or responding to a Family
Court application or by reaching resolution through negotiation.

I represent clients in the following areas: care of children and guardianship disputes, family
violence, relationship property, paternity, and Oranga Tamariki proceedings, including preparing
urgent court applications where required.

My work with family law matters can be both through Legal Aid and on a private basis.

My Experience

After completing my law degree, I worked for the Ministry of Justice before entering practice in
family law, firstly as a barrister and solicitor, then a barrister sole.

I have more than 10 years’ experience in family law litigation and dispute resolution.

I am also regularly appointed as Lawyer for Child to represent children in Family Court
proceedings.
